Regarding EO conferences that bring the spectrum of EO interested people (upstream, downstream, industry, research, end users) together there was the Advancing Earth Observation Forum run by Earth Observation Australia and convened by Prof Stuart Phinn in 2022 in Brisbane, Australia. After a few false starts due to covid this was the first time this conference had been run. It was small with around 285 delegates but very well received and will be run again in September 2024 in Adelaide, Australia (www.earthobsforum.org).
